Here's The Clue:
Found in China, it is the first stegosaur from the Cretaceous Period to be discovered. Like other stegosaurs, it probably had two rows of long, low bony plates down its neck, back, and upper tail. The purpose of the bony plates is unknown althought they may have served as radiators, dissipating body heat during the day. Its tail was studded with four spikes.
