Vulcanodontidae (Vulcanodontids) Translation: Fire Tooth, or Volcano Tooth
The Vulcanodontidae (vul-CAN-oh-don-ti-day) is a family of large primitive
sauropods, members of which had forelimbs almost as long as hind limbs.
They also featured several prosauropod characteristics, such as a large
thumb-claw on the first toe.
